Day #3010 (Tue., Apr. 3, 2018) – Mandarin Program In Question

2018-04-03 - Cardboard CutoutsThe photo to the left shows the various cardboard cutouts that Bobby and I made last night.

My wife told me that the Chinese Mandarin program at Glenwood is in question again as the local parents have been raising a fuss about Glenwood becoming a fulltime charter school. If that was to take place, their children would need to go to another school in Chapel Hill, and this would mean that their property values would suffer? They are calling the Mandarin program “elitist”, even though the students are picked via a lottery and that lottery is open to all. There is a big meeting tomorrow to discuss this further. We’ll see.

I had a two-hour long dip in the O2 pool this evening. The pool is loaded with chlorine. Is this what is making my eyes so red?
