Day #3014 (Sat., Apr. 7, 2018) – Sherlock Gnomes
I took Katie to the Lumina to see “Sherlock Gnomes” for Daddy/Daughter Day #68 today. We stopped off at McDonalds for a Happy Meal beforehand. Last time she devoured a cheeseburger. This time she wanted chicken nuggets but hardly touched them. She did devour the fries though. At the Lumina, it was raining cats & dogs, so we had our customary “picture in front of the poster” shot inside (see photo to the left).
After the movie, I bought Katie a strawberry shortcake ice cream bar and she at it on the way to Victoria’s house. Her stomach started to both her so she only finished 1/2 of it. She spent the afternoon at Victoria’s house until my wife picked her up and both families went to see a flute concert at UNC. Dr. Jonas happened to be performing.
Bobby is still trying to get into the bedroom even though he doesn’t have a key. I found a toothpick inside the lock hole.
Bobby has really taken to a YouTube video where there are ten dancing doughnuts who fall into a pot of chocolate. He laughs and laughs at this. When I try to add narration, such as “wait, no, no” or “lookout” he says no, let me, and takes over in the narration department.
