Day #3027 (Fri., Apr. 20, 2018) – Visiting Dunkin Donuts
One week from today I am scheduled to come home from the hospital. During the last knee replacement surgery, I had trouble adjusting to the meds, so I had to stay an extra couple of days at the hospital. Let’s hope we have the meds all figured out this time.
Helen gets $5 allowance for doing chores. 3 enveloped – save, give, spend. Katie wants to get a Labrador Retriever dog but mom wants German Shepherd. Helen wants a Chihuahua.
I picked up Katie from school this afternoon and drove her home. I decided to treat her to Dunkin Donuts as a special present for being such a good girl last night (see photo to the left). They were out of strawberry sprinkles donuts, so she got a vanilla sprinkles donut instead and washed it down with some chocolate milk. I got Bobby, at Katie’s suggestion, a strawberry sprinkles donut to take home as well.
Daddy’s leg is wearing out…the surgery can’t come fast enough.
