Day #3032 (Wed., Apr. 25, 2018) – Salty Yogurt Drink
I took the day off work to get ready for tomorrow’s knee operation. I drove my wife to work via her van and then dropped Bobby off at school. I made a comment to Bobby’s teachers that I sometimes think he is raising us.
After about an hour I drove back to pick my wife up at work and take her to the award ceremony at Katie’s school. She got a Gatorific Award for reading.
My wife and I then drove to Cary to eat at the Bosphorus restaurant. I had a salty yogurt drink (see photo to the right). Too salty for me…I could not finish it.
My wife and I then went to two stores that sell Lithuanian foods. First, our old friend who had the store near the old Galaxy restaurant. We got some chocolates and various foods from him. It had been years since my wife had seen him.
We then went to the new Lithuanian restaurant for more food items. We got some chocolates for the doctors and nurses who will be performing the surgery tomorrow. My wife got a Lithuanian ice cream that reminds her of what she had as a child.
We then drove home to relax and get ready for tomorrow’s operation. No food for daddy after midnight and no clear liquids after 6 am tomorrow.
