Day #3034 (Fri., Apr. 27, 2018) – Release From Hospital
The photo to the left shows one of the boxes of chocolates that we gave the surgeon, the nurses, etc.
My wife came to see me early in the morning. She stayed with me and worked for most of the day, til we left for home in the afternoon. We have free room service so she was able to get a free breakfast out of the deal.
Stephanie, our nurse for my first visit, came to see us just before I checked out. I guess she asked to be our nurse this time as well, but it was not to be.
I was sick in the van on the drive home. I should have taken my meds before we left the hospital. Both kids were happy to have daddy back home again.
My wife told Lizzie that we will no longer be needing her services to take care of Bobby. She didn’t seem to be overly upset.
When I got home I start watching “Star Trek”, the original series, on NetFlix. I hope to have this finished by the time I go back to work.
