Day #3041 (Fri., May 4, 2018) – Calling Katie’s Principal
The photo to the left shows the little baby otter that Katie got in her Happy Meal at McDonald’s yesterday.
We called the principal at Katie’s school this morning to tell her about Sophi and Murren and the continuation of the bullying. She seemed to indicate that the had similar issues with Sophi before? I mentioned to her that we are also trying to teach Katie the importance of not “sweating the small stuff”. In other words, have goals and let all the other “fluff” in life just fall by the wayside.
Lizzie told my wife that she will be leaving a bit earlier than planned. Her last day will be next Tuesday. Cameron will be starting with us on Friday.
I was able to sit in the LazyBoy in the living room this afternoon. By putting the legs up it was not too bad. I did feel discomfort after a bit though and had to go back to bed.
I had a hard time putting my shorts on and Bobby helped me out. I told them where they were and he went and got them. I then gave him instructions on how to place them so that I could get my feet into them, and how to pull up one of the sides of the shorts so that I could reach it. He did a wonderful job. What a great help!
