Day #3068 (Thu., May 31, 2018) – Jurassic Park Coming Soon
I had a physical therapy session this morning at 10:45 am. I didn’t take my meds till I was at the appointment, so perhaps that is why my session was so difficult. I had a hard time doing the stationary bike due to tension and pain in my right knee. Sarah spent quite a bit of the session massaging my knee and icing it down. It was pain-free by the time I left. I never realized that icing your knee, with a pure ice cube on it, for 5 minutes, would work so well. She said that as long as I only leave it on my knee for 5 minutes I will not give myself frostbite.
Katie was saying that they are creating stories in Miss Stanford’s class. I guess next week they are going to create some kind of a puppet show based on the stories that they are creating.
This evening we went to the mall for a walk. The Jurassic Park movie is coming out so so I had Katie and Bobby pose in front of the promo. I told both Katie and Bobby to pretend that they were scared and a dinosaur was going to chase and eat them. Katie did fine…Bobby was not amused (see photo to the left).
I made pizza before we went so we were able to skip the Chick-Fil-A routine. Katie and Bobby, on the other hand, wanted a snack, so we stopped by the Maple View Dairy booth. Katie wanted an ice cream but Bobby only wanted a dish of gummies. It’s amazing how, at 3 years old, he knows what he wants and you cannot dissuade him.
