Day #3070 (Sat., Jun 2, 2018) – Dr. Seuss Dance Performance
My wife went to see a movie at SilverSpot this morning courtesy of a free ticket while I took care of the kids. This was the first time she had ever been there and the seats were so comfortable for her that she almost fell asleep.
Katie’s “Dr. Seuss” dance performance was this afternoon. You can see her dressed up as a “Plain-Belly Sneetch” in the photo to the right. I was able to make it. My wife told me that she was beaming after the performance and this was the first time that she didn’t say she didn’t want to dance next year.
Ellie was able to see Katie perform as well and came over to our house for a pool party afterward.
We are thinking of getting a thermal swimsuit for both Katie and Bobby. Katie’s swim teacher has said that so many times the reason kids don’t enjoy the water is that they are just plain cold. She said that once they get one of these thermal swimsuits their attitude towards the water changes dramatically. They cost about $40 each on Amazon. Could this be the real reason why Bobby doesn’t seem to like the pool very much?
