Day #3074 (Wed., Jun 6, 2018) – Making Puppets At Glenwood

There is still no note from the nurse indicating that she will prepare the paperwork for my knee operation to go to the Hartford. As a result, I had to text the knee surgeon. He said that he would take care of it. How would you like to be the nurse who didn’t even open the email and have the doctor come up to you and tell you to do your job? Ugh…

My wife went to Glenwood to help out with Katie’s class this morning as they were making puppets. She was the only parent who was invited (an oversight). It’s good that they have glue dots…

Arnesa took the kids to the big pool this morning. Apparently, Bobby inched his way in. He’s very careful, and that is good.

I spent most of the morning filling out “thank you” letters for people who purchased postcard ads. I will get Katie to do this as part of her work activities when she gets older.

2018-06-06 - BusWhile out for a walk this evening we noticed a bus parked outside our neighbor’s house (see photo to the right). Apparently, he rented it to bring his guests to his party so that they would not have to worry about drinking and driving. Nice to have money…

I made some scones for the family this evening. This is the first time that I felt like standing and baking something as my knee still needs to recover.

My wife took Katie to piano class this afternoon. It won’t be long before we are taking Bobby to Miss Laura for piano lessons as well.

Katie says that Sophi is much better towards her these days.
