Day #3099 (Sun., Jul 1, 2018) – Happy Canada Day
Today is Canada Day. My in-laws were on Skype with my wife and wished me a Happy Canada Day. This is our first Canada Day with Maple!
I played Duplos with Bobby and Katie for quite a bit this morning. Of course, Bobby wanted to build all sorts of vehicles and Katie wanted to build cages for animals. We compromised a bit by building a tow truck that hoists up ducks and takes them to the zoo.
I went to get supplies at Trader Joes this afternoon, but before that, I went to Kohls to get a white dress shirt. I had no idea that getting a shirt would be such a painstaking process that would not only be time-consuming but hard on my legs. I barely had enough energy when I was done to get groceries at Trader Joes. The sports coat in the photo to the right was available! I sure didn’t get it!
I brought home some special frozen fruit bars that they started selling at Trader Joe’s. Oddly enough, as soon as Katie had one her stomach started to act up. Bobby and I had one with no problem. Katie went to bed for a bit and once she threw up she was fine.
Maple is still wary of me. Not sure what that is all about.
