Day #3107 (Mon., Jul 9, 2018) – First NC Aquarium Trip
I was up at 6:30 am this morning to be at Magic Beans Coffee Shop when it opened. They have internet access so I was able to do some work. I received an email from a garage door company that wants to be on the card.
Baby Ayra was fussy this morning so Dzenen and Arnesa stayed at home with her while my wife and I took Katie and Bobby to the NC Aquarium. When they couldn’t put her to bed they joined us.
The aquarium had some robotic dinosaurs on exhibit and Bobby loved those. The fishes were also a big hit. He’s a bit older this year and enjoyed them more. You can see them inside fish jaws in the photo to the right.
Bobby calls the cottage we are staying in the “Green House” as it is painted green.
Maple effectively destroyed the rug in our beach home. Bobby enjoys playing with the Melissa & Doug truck and loader that Arnesa brought for him to play with.
We had Food Lion lasagna and some “Instant Pot” soup for dinner this evening. We enjoyed eating out on the front deck on the picnic table. Unfortunately, the flies enjoyed eating this mealtime as well. I got a couple of frozen smoothies at Food Lion this afternoon and the kids loved to munch on those.
I put the Smurfs movie on the television for the kids to enjoy but Bobby enjoyed playing with the Melissa & Doug truck and loader that Arnesa brought much more.
