Day #3149 (Mon., Aug. 20, 2018) – New Piano
I dropped Katie off at the Wildlife Camp near the AICPA this morning. I then drove the van out to Cary to get the seat belt fixed at the Honda Dealer. No charge. This dealership is a lot nicer than the one in Durham, but I’m not sure if it is worth the extra drive.
I picked Katie up from camp at 3 pm. She kept talking about the “7 Sticks” game. I told her that we used to play a game called “Red Rover” when I was a kid. I also made up a game called “Kiss The Chicken”. The first person to catch a running chicken and kiss it wins. Katie said that this was a horrible game…
Everett brought our new piano over to our house this evening (see photo to the right). Katie didn’t seem too interested in playing it, but my wife loved it.
Bobby has been very fussy as of late. Arnesa said that he was a real problem this morning but he calmed down a bit after his nap.
I made hamburgers for the family this evening. I put a cut up apple into the mix to make it a bit sweeter.
