We finally got to partake of the free La Quinta buffet breakfast this morning. Of course free is not much of a deal when Bobby doesn’t eat breakfast anyway…
We went to the Knoxville Zoo again this morning. This time they lowered the admission price to FREE for those fleeing Hurricane Florence. That included FREE handicap parking. Quite the deal. I love Tennessee.
The kids got to ride a camel and feed a giraffe today. There was a great little splash pool near the giraffes so they partook of that. There was an industrial drier (see photo to the left) to dry them off afterwards.
This evening we ate KFC at the dog park while Maple had a run. I stopped off at the nearby Dollar Store for a couple of balls for Maple to play with. The KFC drive through gave us two containers of mashed potatoes instead of one mashed and one fries. Will these guys ever get it right?
We drove to downtown Loudon afterwards. Saw the high school but there is really not much going on. I guess Loudon is where the rich live as it is 1/2 way between Knoxville and Chatannooga.
I took the kids to the nearby McDonald’s this evening so the kids could play in the play area while my wife cleaned up and got ready for a quick early exit to Gatlinburg tomorrow morning.
