It’s a bit “belated”, but the photo to the right shows the keychain that Katie got to remind her of the trip on the tram at Gatlinburg. Bobby wanted one as well so we now have two.
I had to go to downtown Raleigh this morning so my wife took Bobby to school and picked him up. She effectively worked from home all day.
Bobby absolutely loves his recycling/garbage truck. You never know with kids. Sometimes you get them something that you think they will love and they barely play with it. Other times you might get them something that costs practically nothing and they love it and play with it forever. I guess in this particular case since Bobby picked it out it was a natural that he was going to love it. It’s nice I was able to get him something that he really loved for his first Daddy/Son Day. It was only $14.99 to boot…
Katie told me this evening that Helen and Drake were chosen as the student council reps for this year. The kids voted on the speeches that the kids (and Ms. Fleming read out to the class) gave and Helen and Drake’s speech, based upon the votes, were the best. I can see why… I guess that Helen said in her speech that this was going to be her last year at Glenwood and who wouldn’t vote for someone who said that?
