Day #3231 (Sat., Nov. 10, 2018) – Bobby’s Dance Moves
Katie is getting more and more excited about Thanksgiving (See photo to the left).
Both my wife and I are fighting off a cold or “something” today. Perhaps it is what Katie had? Katie’s former piano teacher and current 3rd grade assistant, Miss Laura, told us that her daughter has been diagnosed with the flu. She’s a university student and lives in a dorm, so if people in the dorm have it you can expect it to go through campus like “wild fire”.
Bobby wanted to play this animal version of Monopoly we have. We’re wondering if he would like board games more than Katie did? Maybe we should break open the Candy Land game. In this particular animal version of Monopoly we could not find a board so I had to improvise. I had him guess the names of the animals on the cards if he saw their picture. He would get $5 (play money) for a correct answer…
I made pumpkin bread this evening. I added raisins and sunflower seeds for that extra something. Everyone loved it. I was thinking of adding a banana as well, but we didn’t have any.
Bobby is in rare and energetic form this evening. He was dancing to Elvis Presley’s Jailhouse Rock which I put on YouTube. We’re trying to figure out where he gets his dance moves. We are thinking of having him join Katie in her dance class.
