Day #3248 (Tue., Nov. 27, 2018) – Glass & Coin Magic Trick
I gave Bobby an old cell phone that I found in the car yesterday. He was upset that it did not have any power to it and threw it. I told him to go to his room until he was ready to apologize. He needs to learn that he should be thankful for all gifts and not complain and especially throw things around.
My back is bothering me and I have a cold coming on so I decided to stay at home with Bobby today. We played with the Spiderman RC car I got him the other day and then broke open the Play Doh that I picked up at the Dollar Store the other day.
The most memorable part of the morning was teaching Bobby a magic trick. It’s basically a way to make a coin disappear by putting a wine glass on it. The trick? Have a cover over the wine glass the same color as the backdrop the coin is resting on.
My wife took Katie to piano class this evening while I tended to Bobby. She was thinking of going to a debate at Glenwood over the future of the Mandarin program, but it went on for hours and was glad that she didn’t. They voted again (of all things).
