Day #3271 (Thu., Dec. 20, 2018) – Santa’s Train Ride

In order to put Bobby to bed for his nap these days I will relay the story of “Supper Daddy” and how he is fastest around. How fast? He’s faster than a speeding pickle or banana… What? That doesn’t make any sense… A pickle or banana doesn’t move!!! Bobby gets a kick out of this story!

Arnesa had free tickets to the Santa’s Train Ride at the Science Museum in Durham this evening. We decided to take the kids. We had been there before years ago with Katie before Bobby was even born.

I had a hard time getting into train as the stop was high. Santa and Mrs Clause greeted us during the ride. There was one quick loop and then done. It was raining like mad….not really Christmas weather.

There were huge Lego blocks outside the Butterfly House that Bobby loved playing with (see photo to the left).

They also had some “waxed floor” skating with hospital shoes next to the Butterfly House.

The kids had too much chocolate milk today. With it in the house they don’t seem to eat or drink anything else. I’m not going to get any more of it at Trader Joe’s for a while.

Is Helen mad at Katie? She said some uncomplimentary things today at school. Helen’s sleep over is tomorrow so we need to figure it out.
