The kids all made “slime” this morning. The bottles of glue that I picked up at the Dollar Store the other day proved to be perfect. Not only did the formula work, the fact that it is already measured is wonderful. After the slime the kids did some finger painting on the large coloring book.
All the girls went to see the movie “Mary Poppins” at the Lumina this afternoon while I put Bobby to bed. He insisted on taking the camper and trailer that I gave him last night.
This evening we all bundled together into our van (see photo to the right) and drove to Cary to see the Christmas lights. Jasmine wanted to get some groceries at the Indian store and my wife wanted to see the Lithuanian food truck. By the time we got to Bosphorus the place was packed so we had to wait for a table. Jasmine treated us.
With our tummies full we drove around to see the Christmas lights. The house with all the “old time” lights near where we used to live was dark. We’re not sure why, but the canopy over the front of the house was being held up by planks. There was such a lineup at the $2 Million Dollar house we decided not to get stuck in the traffic. The third selection, the standby house at the corner of High House was a winner. Jasmine loved it…the girls and Bobby too…
We got home late after such a long day and the kids were soon out…
