It’s Valentine’s Day at the Museum of Life & Science in Durham, so I decided to take Bobby. You can see him inside one of the space capsules in the photo to the right.
He insisted on taking his Black Power Ranger. The only way that I said he could is if I attached it to him with a string. He reluctantly agreed. I’m glad I did. There were numerous times in the museum where I saw it dangling haplessly from his coat. Can you imagine having to run all over the museum looking for it?
We were hoping that Frankie could join us but Amy, Frankie’s mom, said that they had to visit her father in the hospital and since Frankie got up at 4 am, she was hoping that he would go to bed for a nap.
At the museum, Bobby wanted to play with the various exhibits indoors rather than go to see the animals. We spent quite a bit of time with the little wind tunnel that shoots up the parachute men. We also spent quite a bit of time in the area where you build structures out of these big blue blocks. When it was time to go he was really fussy til I told him that I was going to take his Black Power Ranger away. That calmed him down immediately!
On the way home, Bobby fell asleep in the car, so I drove the car around Chapel Hill and the surrounding areas for an hour and a half so that he could get a good nap. We then drove home. He was taking a bath when my wife and Katie arrived home.
It was Valentine’s Day at Katie’s school today. She told me that they celebrated in the afternoon. She gave me a Valentine’s Day gift, a photo that she got from somewhere??? She thought it was my parents, but they are Serbian. Did it come from Arnesa’s belongings? The investigation is on…
