Day #3340 (Wed., Feb. 27, 2019) – “Mini” Daddy/Daughter Day #77
Bobby woke up this morning and told me that he would not be fussy when I picked him up after school. Well, that was easier said than done. He was fine playing with Frankie behind the preschool for a while, but when it was time to leave Bobby wanted Frankie to give him his little Batman and Red Power Ranger dolls. When Frankie took them home he was very upset. So much for not putting up a fuss.
I was planning on having Daddy/Daughter Day #77 with Katie today, but she was very upset when she got home. I guess that Helen and she got into a fight. I did get some Neopolitan cereal from Trader Joe’s this morning (see photo to the right), and she had some of that. Does this count? Sort of a “mini” Daddy/Daughter Day I guess?
When my wife got home she took her temperature and it was 101 degrees. As there is strep throat going around my wife took her to the doctor this evening while I tended to Bobby.
Katie has the flu! When my wife got back from the doctor she had me go to Walgreens to get her prescription filled. We had a couple of Tamiflu prescriptions for my wife and I that Dr. Holman left us last year, but they expired, so we have to get them updated tomorrow.
