Day #3359 (Mon., Mar. 18, 2019) – Giving Optimus Prime Away

After dropping Bobby off at preschool this morning I drove to Lowe’s to get a curtain rod and adapter. I plan to put up the green screen in the bedroom, and putting this up on the wall is the first step.

The photo to the right shows the artwork that Bobby did at preschool today.

When I picked up Bobby after school today I had his Blue Power Ranger and his Optimus Prime robot in-hand (Mary doesn’t allow the kids to bring toys to school). Well, didn’t Bobby go and give his Optimus Prime robot to Aven. When I asked Bobby why on the drive home he said that he wanted Aven to learn how to give. It’s nice to see Bobby with such a giving attitude…

Bobby was fussy when it was time to go home today as well. That’s it for me. No more playing with the kids after preschool til he learns to be more accepting of when it is time to leave. There were about 20 kids/parents there and he was the only one who was acting up when it came time to leave.

I was planning on taking Katie to dance this afternoon, but she was not feeling well. I had to run some errands and told her to go wake her mother up if she needed anything. While I was “out and about” I did manage to talk to Hal, my 3rd cousin. We had a nice chat about our families and jobs and plan to get together for a coffee in a week or so when he gets back from his trip to Alabama.

The high school that puts on plays each year is planning on Cinderella this year. My wife was able to get into their seat selection website early and got great seats as a result.
