Day #3370 (Fri., Mar. 29, 2019) – Gold Park
My wife took today off work and took to kids to Gold Park in Hillsborough. Arnesa and Ayra joined them. They played in the park for a while and then had a hike up the mountain. They were beat by the time they got home for Bobby’s nap.
My wife said that she was watching Katie on her bike and she went quite a stretch without using her training wheels. She thinks that by the end of the summer she will have graduated away from training wheels. Bobby is a different animal. He races along without a care in the world. He might be off training wheels by the end of the week… 🙂
The brake on Katie’s bike broke again. I decided that I would try to find it at other Walmart stores and this turned out to be quite the excursion. I ended up going to four Walmart stores around the Triangle area (see photo to the right). They had plenty of Mischief bikes, but no Sweetheart bikes. This took me well over two hours this evening and no success. It felt a bit like hunting or fishing and returning with nothing.
