Day #3379 (Sun., Apr. 7, 2019) – Touch A Truck
I took Bobby to “Touch A Truck” this afternoon at the Friday Center. This is Daddy/Son Day #8. He was a bit cautious at first, but after some playtime in the inflatable area he soon warmed up. He enjoyed getting into the various trucks and trying out the horns and pretending to steer them. All in all we were there for 2 1/2 hours. He didn’t seem too tired when we left, but by the time I got to McDonald’s for an ice cream treat for him he was “out”. I ended up spending another hour driving around Chapel Hill so that he could have a good nap.
While I was out with Bobby my wife and the guys from “Rent A Rower” were bringing furniture and other items over from Jui Lan’s house. We got a new bed for Katie, a new desk for me, shelving units, their grill, and “whatever”. They are moving to be closer to their kids and since they wanted to get rid of this stuff, why not? We can use it.
