For some reason, Bobby was not too interested in going to preschool this morning. He’s usually eager to go see Frankie and Aven and his teachers. Not sure what’s up with that. We did manage to eventually get out of the house.
Once I dropped Bobby off I drove to the Walmart in Hillsborough to return the men’s bike I got from them a couple of weeks ago. I have too much trouble getting on and off it, probably because of my knees. At any rate, we’re looking for a ladies bike for my wife now.
After picking Bobby up from preschool he wanted to take his 11″ Batman behind the school to show Frankie and his friends. He didn’t put up a fuss when we left today. Amy and I made plans to have a bike ride play date with Frankie and Bobby on Thursday.
I fed Bobby some yogurt on the new couch we got from Jui-Lan yesterday. It takes a bit getting used to…I got the routine with Bobby’s chair up next to the LazyBoy down nicely, now to figure out this one. Bobby had some yogurt but wanted a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. When I brought him and open-faced sandwich he said that he wanted a bread roof (i.e.: another slice of bread on top) for it.
It didn’t seem like Bobby was going to have a nap. When my wife came home around 3 pm he was so wound up that she took him to his bedroom and he was “out” within a few minutes.
Katie didn’t want to go to dance class this evening. I gave her a little talking to about always asking the question: “How can I get this done and enjoy the process of doing it”? If you ask your mind this question it will come up with an answer. She did seem to enjoy doing the “Umbrella Dance” (see photo to the left).
