Day #3407 (Sun., May 5, 2019) – Bobby’s Flat Tire
Bobby’s bike has a flat tire. I took it to the repair shop in Durham and they want $8 for the tub and $10 for the service so I decided that I would do it myself. I went and got a repair kit and bicycle pump at Walmart. I will fix it myself.
I also bought a “Space Figures” set at A.C. Moore for 55% off with coupon (see photo the right). I have been eyeing this package for Bobby for quite a while. I first saw it when we were getting all the animal tubes for Katie. It would be perfect for a boy I thought.
The video that Katie and I made, namely the UglyDolls video on “How To Draw Lou” is really up today. Not the stellar performance that I was hoping, but it is up nevertheless. How do these people get these HUGE YouTube stats on their channels?
My wife took Katie to the Philharmonic concert this evening while I tended to Bobby. Rather than stay inside I decided that I would take him out and have some fun. We ended up at the service station near the Governor’s Club where I bought him a package of gum and a pineapple drink. We went to the Southern Village Park, where the plan was to teach him how to blow bubbles. He’s a bit young, but he did enjoy munching on the gum and certainly loved the taste of the pineapple drink.
