Day #3418 (Thu., May 16, 2019) – Bobby Graduates
Bobby was up early this morning and coughing quite a bit so I figured I had better keep him at home as he would be going to bed by noon…or at least I thought.
We made an airport out of bristol board for Bobby’s Southwest Airplane toy (see photo to the left). Bobby also watched a lot of television.
It proved to be tougher to put Bobby to bed than I thought. In the end, he was up until my wife came home. She was able to put him to bed by saying that if they lied still in bed for 5 minutes, and he was still awake, he could get up and play. That did the trick…he was out.
Helen tested positive for whooping cough today. We are watching Katie closely.
This evening was Bobby’s graduation day. All four of us attended. Miss Peggy, Bobby’s teacher, got flowers for being with Mary for 25 years. The kids get popsicles and the opportunity to play in the playground behind the school afterward.
