Day #3420 (Sat., May 18, 2019) – Daddy/Daughter Day #80
Katie was heartbroken this morning as Bobby crushed Katie’s snail. Katie said that he will never find another snail to love her as this one did… Bobby felt really bad about it but there was no consoling Katie.
Daddy/Daughter Day #80 today. I had to mail a letter so while at the post office/garage in Pittsboro I bought Katie a large pink lemonade (see photo to the left). We also had some fries from Al’s Burger Shack and ate them at one of the picnic tables in Southern Village while we played a couple of hands of “Old Maid”.
On the way home I picked up a couple of prescriptions at Walgreens and then took Katie to Dunkin Donuts for a “Strawberry Sprinkled Donut” (her favorite).
I got an Opera Cake while at Trader Joe’s for supplies this evening.
