Day #3439 (Thu., Jun 6, 2019) – Play Date With Frankie
Bobby had a play date with Frankie, his “Fish” classmate, at the Dinosaur Park near his school this morning. They rode their bikes and enjoyed the Tootsie Roll pops that I gave them.
After the play date, I drove Bobby to the Dollar Store to get another Ninja Soldier. The one we got yesterday has a broken leg, so my aim was to replace it. Bobby got the blue one with a red mask today (see photo to the left). While we were on the way to the Dollar Store Arnesa texted that they were at Umstead Park, so off we went on the return.
Bobby showed Claudia and baby Ayra his new Ninja Soldier. He demonstrated how his toy could “do the splits”. Well, he broke the leg on this one. That’s why the Ninja Soldier yesterday has a broken leg.
Bobby went for a nap again today. He enjoyed taking his Ninja Soldier to bed with him but cried when he broke off it’s leg, yet again. Repairman daddy to the rescue, and he was out…
Katie said that Murren might be returning to Glenwood. It’s just a rumor at this stage. Apparently, Helen will be staying in their house down the road, but she will be withdrawing from Glenwood and homeschooled next year.
