Day #3454 (Fri., Jun 21, 2019) – The Power Comes On
The photo to the left shows a couple more items that we got at the Dollar Store yesterday.
The power was still not on when we got up this morning. News reports say it “might come on” by 3 pm. My wife was up cleaning the kitchen as we are getting it sprayed this morning.
We decided to take the kids and Maple over to Arnesa’s house. I figured that I would get the car washed outside and vacuumed inside this morning as it sure needs it (as Katie would say). It cost less than $20, but sure makes a difference.
Claudia was so happy to see Bobby that she said she would marry him!
The power came on later in the afternoon. Nice to have it back. Funny how you take things like this for granted.
This evening all four of us played “Maple In The Middle”. It’s much easier when you don’t have to play via flashlight.
We currently have three kites set aside for our trip to the coast on Monday. Everyone is busy packing and getting ready. Won’t take me long…
