Day #3466 (Wed., Jul 3, 2019) – Clark Pool
Not sure what it is about the Dollar Store figurines, but Bobby will “pluck” their arms and legs off eventually (see photo to the left).
I took the kids to the Clark pool in Carrboro this morning. It opened at 11 am and we stayed til a little after 1 pm. They had a blast! It’s free too! We stuck near the shallow end of the pool and even daddy went in. Bobby used some floats to stay aloft and Katie was a big help.
I asked them when is the best time to come to the pool for a swim and they said either 11 am or at dinner time, 5:30 pm til 7 pm. I talked to my wife and we plan to go in the evenings after she gets off work. One of us will be able to do some laps while the other tends to the kids.
This evening I went to Trader Joe’s for supplies. I got some Mango Oreo type cookies that the kids loved. I also picked up some hamburger and hot dogs with buns for our 4th celebration tomorrow.
It looks like the fireworks might be canceled tomorrow due to bad weather, so my wife asked me if I would mind driving to Morrisville to see them. She asked Katie who said it was a long drive and very noisy, so we decided not to go. Good for me!
