Day #3472 (Tue., Jul 9, 2019) – Poor Turtle
Bobby made some money for daddy this morning (see photo to the right).
Arnesa is taking Claudia and Ayra to the museum in Greensboro this morning. She offered to take Katie and Bobby as well, but Katie was not too eager to go on such a long drive when she would only get two hours or so of playtime. I’m sure the fact that she got sick in the car on the way back from the beach entered into the occasion.
I took the kids to the Clark Pool in Carrboro at 11 am this morning. On the way there I saw a box turtle on the road outside our house and stopped and put my blinkers on so that I could get out and take it off the road. Well, before I could get out a car went rushing by. Katie got out and said that they hit the turtle. She thinks it was one of the Embry’s cars. Not 100% sure of either, but Katie was very upset. She put it on the side of the road so no more harm would come to it.
Katie had another piano lesson with her new teacher. The teacher this year is from Hong Kong and is much more professional than last years. Katie seems to really enjoy it as well.
