Day #3501 (Wed., Aug. 7, 2019) – Creek Stomp
The photo to the left shows Spence’s Farm. I thought I would take a picture of it as there is a lot of building going on in that area… By the time Katie and Bobby are grown up, who knows, it might not be there anymore.
Today is “Creek Stomp” day at Spence’s Farm. This activity took place in the PM. The kids go to the Eno River and basically “stomp” up and down and look at all the various flora, fauna, and stuff. Both kids enjoyed it.
In the AM, the kids have other activities. Katie signed up for activities around the house and made tomato sauce. Her job was to cut the tomatoes. She said that each kid will get to take some of the tomato sauce home…at some point?
It’s a bit unclear what Bobby did in the AM. As was Katie when she was his age, he’s a bit more tight-lipped about what goes on at school and camps.
This evening we all went to the Clark Pool for a dip. You can tell that the heat of the summer is starting to disipate. Once we get back from Disney World Katie will be going back to school…
Speaking of school, Miss Caglia has decided to take a position in Apex, so she will no longer be the principal of Glenwood.
