Day #3503 (Fri., Aug. 9, 2019) – Grooming The Horses
Last day of camp at Spence’s Farm today. My wife took today off work and dropped them off at 8:15 am and picked them up at 3 pm when they let out.
My eyeglasses have lost their screws so I went to Sam’s Club to get them fixed…free of charge. I picked up some packing tape, grapes, and a nice roast beef as well. Katie has said that she is tired of soups, but I’m sure a nice roast beef dinner will be different in her eyes.
Katie got to help with the horses today at Spence’s Farm. She said that she loved grooming them. Bobby got paint all over his face and some on his shirt. He’s a bit closed mouth about it, but it looks like they might have been doing some painting.
We all went to the Clark Pool this evening for a bit of a dip but had to leave after about 30 minutes as Bobby was tired. He was real fussy as he was up early this morning and refused to go back to bed. Add a long day at camp to this and you have one fussy child. He’s really not over his naps just yet. Next week will be nap week hopefully…
