Day #3514 (Tue., Aug. 20, 2019) – The Lion King
I took the kids to see Lion King at SilverSpot this morning (see photo to the right). The show started at 10:30 am (after 15 minutes of previews). It’s amazing how real these computer-generated images look these days.
Katie really enjoyed the movie, but at close to 2 hours it was a bit long for Bobby. He wanted to get up three times during the show. The first two times he wanted to go and get a drink of water. The last time, just at the climactic scene with Simba reclaiming the throne, he wanted to go and do a #2. He’s really too young to enjoy these movies anyway.
This evening I showed the kids a video on YouTube involving a kids first flight on an airplane. Katie is a bit concerned about the height and such, but Bobby couldn’t seem to care one way or the other.
When I got home from running errands this evening there was a fight with both kids wanting to have a window seat on the plane and sit next to Bobby as well. After a bit of talking it looks like Bobby wants to sit next to me on the plane. We’ll see how it all shakes down tomorrow…
