Day #3515 (Wed., Aug. 21, 2019) – Disney World Day #1
We got up early (around 4am) and flew to Orlando this morning. Katie was worried about flying, but she did fine. This was also Bobby’s first flight…and he didn’t even flinch.
Day #1 of our Disney World vacation is “Magic Kingdom” (see photo to the left).
We had a delicious Dole Whip dessert. Sure tasted good under the hot Orlando sun.
I got to video the kids watching the parade as it proceeded down main street. It was easy to see them in their yellow outfits.
We went on various rides, like the Pirates of the Carribean and the “People Walker”. It was great to have a Fast Pass. I can’t imagine having to wait in those lines in the hot Orlando sun.
I was exhausted when I got home. I collapsed on the bed while my wife took the kids to the hotel pool. Nothing special, but there was a fountain under a Mickey Mouse statue that Bobby liked. We are staying in the Toy Store section of the hotel complex.
