Today we went to the Magic Kindom for the second straight day. There is just too much “kid related stuff” to see here.
I got a chance to take Bobby on a go-kart today. I had him at the controls, but I ended up steering and navigating as he was too busy looking around at all the sights and sounds.
Bobby had a nap in the stroller today. I tended to him while my wife took Katie to explore the rest of the park. They got a chance to see the “Hall of the Presidents”.
We had a Fast Pass to the “Seven Dwarfs” ride (see photo to the right), but Katie was off and on if she wanted to go on it. I guess her classmate Dylan told her it was scary. I sat her down and said that we won’t go on it if she really doesn’t want to, but it would be better if she could go on it and say “never again”. I went on to explain the stats and how nobody ever gets injured on a Disney ride. We went on the ride and she said that she agreed with Dylan, it was scary and she would never do it again. She did however say that she was glad she did it so that she could compare.
As we were leaving the park I tripped over one of the railway tracks on mainstreet and fell down. The Disney staff were all over me, picking me up and asking me if I was okay. Katie talked about this all the way home…how they overreacted.
My wife brought a lot of food with us so that we could save money at Disney World rather than eat out. As we were leaving the park we saw a stand where they were selling turkey legs. We bought one, and it was a nice warm addition to our evening meal.
