Day #3529 (Wed., Sept. 4, 2019) – First Day As A Frog
Today was Bobby’s first day as a “Frog” at preschool (see photo to the right). He was very excited to see Frankie and the rest of his friends so it was no problem getting him dressed. In fact, after dressing, he put his shoes on and was sitting in the car by the time I left the house.
He saw Frankie as soon as he entered the building. Unfortunately Frankie was having some problems adjusting back to the school year so it a bit of time til they got “back into the groove”.
Only two hours for this, Bobby’s first day back at preschool. When I picked him up he wanted to play behind the preschool for a bit, but Frankie was not in the mood, so Bobby soon asked to go home. When we got home I gave him back the gun I took from him yesterday. He promised not to point it at anyone. I helped him fashion a new dart out of cardboard and kleenex.
There is an issue with the ratio of boys to girls in Katie’s 4th grade class. There are only four girls and the rest are boys. My wife discussed this with the teachers but it didn’t change anything. Seems to be the way things go there…
