Day #3538 (Fri., Sept. 13, 2019) – Gavin Hits Bobby With A Stick
The photo to the left shows Bobby riding the tractor we gave him for Christmas a couple of years ago. No the most conventional way to sit on it, but at least he is using it.
My wife took Bobby to school today. Today is the last day for her to make snacks for his class. She made a dish of bananas and strawberries this morning.
I picked Bobby up from preschool at noon today. Friday is the only day that we do not have a slot at lunch bunch. Amy was there picking up Frankie. He didn’t want to play with Bobby behind the school today. What’s up with that? They used to play together all the time last year. This year, not so much…
While the kids were playing behind the school today Gavin accidentally hit Bobby in the face with a sick. His mother made him apologize and then came to talk to me. I told her that Bobby likes to play with sticks as well, but this is something we need to stop. Kids don’t need to be playing with sticks. Someone could really get hurt.
My wife told me that the policy for sticks is none above the shoulders. This hit was behind the school after school hours, but perhaps the same policy should apply. Having said that, I don’t like them playing with sticks anyway.
Katie told me that in art class today they created an obsticle course for a robot that they programmed to go through it. Art is sure “high tech” these days…
