Day #3548 (Mon., Sept. 23, 2019) – Gavin & His Stick

Gavin hit Bobby with a stick after preschool this morning. His father brought him over to apologize. He didn’t seem to really apologize though, had that look about him.
Katie told me that Murren has designated herself to be the head of “Glenwood News”. She has had a problem with stretching the truth in the past, so I joked that she would be telling everyone that Katie died over the weekend.
This evening we all watched a video on the Delta Chinese, and how they had grocery stores and lived in the back. The kids worked from the time they could see over the counter. From morning til 7 pm every night, and they were open 365 days a year. I told Katie that she should be thankful for all she has, not complaining, when you realize how hard other kids have had to work during their childhood.
