Day #3568 (Sun., Oct. 13, 2019) – Addams Family Movie
I put up another video of our Disney trip on the iKatieBobby YouTube channel this morning. It’s of the Soarin Ride. Bobby is not into making these green screen videos like Katie is.
I took Katie to see the Addams Family movie for Daddy/Daughter Day #86 this afternoon. It was raining (see photo to the left). We stopped off at McDonalds for a Happy Meal beforehand. She chose the chicken nuggets over the cheeseburger this time. The Happy Meal toy was a Hello Kitty Tea Tray…Katie was hoping to get another Barbie doll…
The movie was good, but short. The listed time was 1 hour and 45 minutes but in actuality it was closer to 1 hour 15 minutes. Not sure how they time these things. Katie got a kiddie meal as well…one of her favorite things about going to the movies. Some popcorn, a lemonade, and some gummies. Katie has been looking forward to going to this movie for quite a while, so I’m glad we are able to go. She said that Murren from her school was talking about it.
I talked to the manager at the Lumina and it looks like they are going to be around a bit longer. They were supposed to shut down on August, but it looks like they have a new plan… Great… Sad to see these little theaters shutting down.
