Day #3570 (Tue., Oct. 15, 2019) – Gum At School

When I dropped Bobby off at preschool this morning Mary took me aside to talk to me. Apparently Bobby took gum to school yesterday and gave it to some of the kids. There is a strict “no gum” policy at the preschool. I went to talk to him in class to tell him a bit about it.

The photo to the right shows the gum that Bobby got. It was next to the sink in the kitchen.

On the drive home I tried to get more information out of Bobby. Apparently he was chewing gum and the teachers told him to throw it away. According to Bobby (which you have to take with a grain of salt), someone grabbed it out of his hand and started to chew it… Anyway, no more gum at school. I made this clear to Bobby.

Gavin’s mom whisked Gavin away after school rather than play behind the school. I think she is trying to keep her son away from “Bad Influence Bobby’s Dad” since I said I don’t have the time or energy to supervise Gavin…

My wife took Katie to piano class this evening. She also got her recorder. I played her a little snippet of “Mary Had A Little Lamb”, from my recorder years…
