It’s a Lazy Sunday Day today…. You need that sometimes. No birthday parties or play dates. No rushing around here and there. Nothing to do but relax and get ready for the work week. Ahhh….
The couch that Jui-Lan gave us has a new look (see photo to the right).
I’m gradually trying to get the kids to ask Alexa questions. She (or should I say “It”) is a virtual treasure chest of information. She will talk Chinese to you if you want. What a great way to learn the proper pronunciation of Chinese words.
I’m also trying to get Bobby to ask Alexa how to spell words. If you ask her to spell “dog”, she will…
Another great thing that Alexa can do is tell you what words begin with a letter. This is perfect for Bobby’s class as they have “Letter Days” at school. An example of this would be “Alexa, what starts with the letter q”. Alexa will then tell you.
Bobby will get Alexa to play songs for him on a regular basis. He loves to get Alexa to play “Baby Shark”. Katie Perry’s “Roar” is a current favorite…I think he gets this from his sister Katie.
