Day #3607 (Thu., Nov. 21, 2019) – Roasted Chestnuts
My wife took the day off work as she thought she might have to take Bobby to the doctor. He has had such a bad cough the last couple of days. Anyway, he woke up this morning raring to go. She took Katie to school and then came back and took Bobby to school. I had work to do today so she picked him up at 1 pm as well.
I learned from Graham’s mother that you can get Alexa to call your phone. My wife set that up for her phone. Now she doesn’t need to ask me to call her phone when she loses it.
I picked up some chestnuts at Trader Joe’s this evening (see photo to the left). The package also includes instructions on how to roast them. Might be an interesting activity to do with the kids. The guy at Trader Joe’s said that he remembers having them as a kid and they were quite tasty. We’ll see…
