Day #3614 (Thu., Nov. 28, 2019) – Thanksgiving Day

We are busy getting ready for Thanksgiving Dinner. Arnesa and family will be arriving at 4:30 pm so there is lots to do. The kids are a bit restless and fighting so that doesn’t help…

We watched a bit of the Thanksgiving Parade on television. This year, for some reason, the “Angry Pilgrim” that Katie has taken note of each year was missing from the coverage. It was so windy in New York City that they had to keep the balloons close to the ground.

Arnesa and family came at 4:30 pm. Dzenen and Awnsar (his son) were dressed in stripes (see photo to the left). I asked Dzenen and he said that this was unintentional.

Arnesa loved the roasted chestnuts that my wife made in the oven. Apparently it is a common snack in Bosnia.

Bobby went to bed early again this evening. Now that he has given up naps, and goes to bed early, my wife gets to have a long sleep in the night, which she loves.

Katie is excited about the “Elf on the Shelf” which will apparently arrive tomorrow.
