Day #3621 (Thu., Dec. 5, 2019) – Katie Is Writing A Book

My wife and I went to Five Below this morning to pick up Christmas gifts. They no longer have cashiers…but self-service checkouts. We ended up getting close to $90 worth of Christmas gifts for the kids and their upcoming birthdays.

Here’s an exerpt from Katie’s book…

Fang was a young, smart, and brave girl. She was 9 and she had flowing black hair which was worn in a tight bun. Her eyes were the color of fresh blood and her skin was as pale as the first flake of snow. Her two front teeth were as long as her pinky finger and her fingernails were the color of fresh blood as well. She wore a black dress the color of the night which was perfectly strapped around her body like a boa constrictor strangling its prey. It covered her from her neck to the floor, She wore this look every day. She lived in a mansion on the very top of the highest peak. Fang longed to see the world outside the mansion. One day she got extremely curious… and she decided to ask her 12 year old sister, Raven, what the outside world looked like. Raven looked like a copy of Fang. Raven had flowing black hair which was also worn in a tight bun. Her eyes were the color of fresh blood and her skin was as pale as the first flake of snow to. Her two front teeth were also as long as her pinky finger and her fingernails were the color of fresh blood as well. She wore a black dress the color of the night which was perfectly strapped around her body like a boa constrictor strangling its prey too. It covered her from her neck to the floor to, and she wore this look every day to. Fang asked Raven what it was like. Little did they know that there four year old sibling was watching. Her name was Valentina. She looked exactly like Fang and Raven, with the same flowing hair and dagger eyes. “Raven, why do we have to stay in this house like a baby bat has to stay in his cave?” Asked Fang. Raven sighed. “Your too young to learn this. Maybe when your older.” Said Raven in a calm and understandable tone. “But, you got to see the world when you were my age! Why can’t I see the world?” “Fang, some of those people speak a different language than english! Like german!” She folded her arms, as if Fang was stuck in one corner. “I know German! Ich bin fluente! I am fluent!” Raven sighed. `
