Day #3638 (Sun., Dec. 22, 2019) – Southern Village Lights
I went to Trader Joe’s at 8 am this morning for supplies. I wanted to beat the rush as it will be crazy there this afternoon. I could have probably gone this evening but they might be sold out of what we want by then. I got some dog and cat treats for stocking stuffers for Maple and Batman and Robin.
While at TJ’s I picked up a tin of popcorn for the kids. The kids ate a bit of it but didn’t devour it like I thought they would.
This evening we all went to see the Christmas decorations and lights in Southern Village. This was effectively the 9th Day of Christmas. I gave the kids some gummies to eat in the car. Bobby tends to stuff them all in his mouth at once. Katie tends to take her time and make them last longer. I problem can arise when Bobby reaches for Katie’s gummies.
After visiting Southern Village we went to the little park in Carborro where we tend to go only at Christmas time. They didn’t have any lights up there. We drove by Arnesa’s place and thought we might drop by but they were not at home.
