Day #3641 (Wed., Dec. 25, 2019) – Christmas 2019
My wife and I were up first this morning, then Bobbby, then Katie. The kids got to open up one gift before Arnesa and her family arrived. Bobby opened up the Power Ranger Megazoid and Katie opened up the Disney Hot Chocolate Mug. Arnesa and family arrived at 8:30 am. You can see Katie, Bobby, and Ayra in the photo to the left.
We took turns and opened up all the presents one after another and that was the highlight of the morning. Ayra got a princess dressup kit. Katie gave her a book about ballerinas. Arnesa got earrings from Santa. Dzenen got a calendar of daily tips. Daddy got a car bumper magnet that says “Life Is Better With A German Shepherd”. I was going to add the word “out” to the end of “with”, but my wife took it and put it on the bumper of her car.
The breakfast was good. Bobby really enjoyed the beef pastromi that Dzenen brought. The kids didn’t want to spend too much time around the table with all those toys to play.
Katie’s Owleze was the highlight of the later part of the morning. The kids loved seeing it fly. It was more challenging to get Bobby’s drone to fly.
This evening we had the 12th Day Of Christmas. Bobby got a skateboard and was ecstatic. Katie got a robot spider kit.
All in all, a great Christmas. The kids were beat by the end of the day!
