Day #3642 (Thu., Dec. 26, 2019) – The Day After
Today is the day after Christmas, Boxing Day in Canada.
Owleze is back in it’s stand resting (see photo to the right). The kids are back to their video games today. It’s funny how video games seem to have that magic alure that no other toys can compete with. I’m reminded of that story I heard about the founders of Instagram. When they were in college their thesis was on how to addict people to screens. Well, these types of people seem to have done a great job when it comes to video games and the like.
I have Sony PlayStation 2 in the basement that I bought way back in 2004 or so. We were actually thinking of giving it to the kids this Christmas, but given their addiction to Roblox and other video games we didn’t want to throw “gas on the fire”.
