Day #3647 (Tue., Dec. 31, 2019) – Cotton Candy Maker
We gave Katie the Cotton Candy Maker we purchased at Five Below a few weeks ago (see photo to the right). We want to check it out before her birthday party this weekend.
Well, the sugar we tried in it didn’t work all that well, so I went out later today to the Dollar Store to get some hard candy to crush up and some granulated sugar as well. My wife said that this didn’t work well either. I think the holes might be clogged and the metal cup needs a good soaking to clear them.
My wife got various Harry Potter decorations from Amazon. This is the theme of Katie’s birthday party this year. Dylan will be at the party but not staying the night. I told me wife that we could go back and get him on Sunday morning if he wanted to come over for waffles and spend the morning.
I have started to play “Jingle Bell Rock” on the small guitar. Katie and I did a bit of a duet with her on the piano this evening. Hopefully Bobby will want to learn to play the other guitar and join in at some point. I played a duet with Katie on the piano.
My wife and I were up with Bobby late this evening so we welcomed in the new year. This is the first time I have been up for New Years celebrations in a long time.
