Day #257 (Fri., Sept. 17, 2010) – Aussie Plush Animals
My wife went to the doctor today and took little Katie in tow. I guess she stared at everyone and made her presence known.
Today is my last day on the job and one of my co-workers gave me a couple of plush animals for little Katie (a little kangaroo and a little koala…see photo to the right). They are very well made and have very expressive faces so I’m sure that she will love them! I can see her little fingers now trying to pry off the little black eyes!
I told her that she would probably start by ripping the arms off the Koala, and tossing the Kangaroo around…of course the tags would eventually end up in her mouth.
I didn’t get off work til late so I had to go to another Trader Joe’s before they closed. My wife wanted me to pick up some organic blueberries, blackberries, or raspberries. They didn’t have any of those, so I ended up getting some organic plums. I did get some organic strawberries, but little Katie might be alergic to them … we will eat those ourselves.
